THE GREAT BIG BUG SHOW: Opening Reception

The Bugs are Coming! Join us for our annual Great Big Bug Show, one of our most popular exhibits! This group show features artwork inspired by the wonderful world of insects! Plus, on First Friday we will have bug-handler Blanton Amspacher with some live insects for you to meet – and handle if you are feeling brave! Blanton is very respectful and informative, and never uses the bugs to scare anyone, he just wants you to see how neat they are! But if you are intimidated, the live bugs will be in the back room, so you can still enjoy the artwork in the front room! Light refreshments and free craft beer tastings provided by The Beer Ace (must be 21 to sample). We will also have a free pin featuring insect artwork by one of our artists for the first 25 visitors to the gallery!
I will be displaying a fly by night collection of trading cards, a large creepy fly picture and my latest New Age Hex sign featuring Mayflies.
